Coastal Farm and Ranch searches for 'Ugliest Tie'

The public is invited to the "Ugliest Tie" contest Saturday at Coastal Farm and Ranch, 1425 SuperMall Way.

In honor of Father's Day, Coastal is searching for the ugliest tie in town, and will reward one lucky person with a $50 gift card grand prize.

"For years the big joke has always been giving dad a tie for Father's Day," said Coastal owner Buzz Wheeler. "Bring in an old tie and we'll instantly give you a free $5 gift card just for entering the contest. It should be a bunch of fun. We can't wait to see all the crazy ties."

To get ready for Father's Day, there also will be a free barbecue on Saturday for all dads from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Other family members can enjoy a burger and cold drink for only 25 cents, but dad is always free.
