Auburn home sales, prices up in November

Homes sales in Auburn were up 14.8 percent and home prices rose 11.4 percent in November compared to the same month in 2012.

A total of 124 homes were sold at a median price of $272,854, according to numbers compiled by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company. The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.

Auburn homes spent an average of 37 days on the market last month.
