The Auburn-Area Chamber of Commerce recently honored Emerald Aire with an “excellence in business award” for the quarter.

Emerald Aire – a leading heating, ventilating and air conditioning service provider for commercial and residential customers – has been operating in the north end of Auburn, at 5108 D St. NW, for many years.

The team-oriented company maintains close relationships with its employees and provides strong service to customers.

The company's operations include a variety of unique programs, including Aire Cares, which organizes charitable programs for the less fortunate in the communities in which they work.

Mint hiring

As the economy turns sour, investors are turning to precious metals, and that has been good for Northwest Territorial Mint. The surge in business requires so many new employees that the country’s leading mint and precious metals dealer will hold its own Job Fair on Sunday at Emerald Downs, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Northwest Territorial Mint has immediate needs for over a dozen positions including: sales, accounting, administrative support, press operator, machinist, die cutter, heavy overhaul mechanic, maintenance mechanic, graphic designer, and SAP administrator/analyst.

“Interest in our minting, bullion and precious metals items has never been greater, and we are looking to hire talented individuals immediately,” said Ross Hansen, owner and CEO of Northwest Territorial Mint.

Job fair attendees will be able to meet company representatives from management and human resources and learn more about current openings.
