DECA duo to host expo at Auburn Mountainview

Auburn Mountainview High School DECA students Heather Odell and Nichola Usher will host the inaugural Entrepreneurship Exposition from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the school, 28900 124th Avenue SE.
The event is free and open to the public.
The expo is open to people of all ages who are interested in learning how to launch their own business. The event will include resource booths; workshop sessions; a panel discussion with local business owners Way Scarff, John Rottle and Dawn Taylor, owner of Salon Bella Dea; and a message from keynote speaker Brad Benner, owner of X-BAR, a Seattle-based IT consulting and support business. Workshop session topics include: small business development; finances; marketing and more.
