Auburn Valley Humane Society to issue new lifetime licenses to pet owners

Change begins in March

The Auburn Valley Humane Society will issue new lifetime licenses to pet owners beginning in March.

The new licenses will replace previous tags that are required to be worn by the pet as a form of identification. The license is required to be renewed annually.

You can renew your pet’s license several ways:

• Online at auburnvalleyhs.org/petlicensing

• Mailing your renewal notice with payment to: Auburn Valley Humane Society, 4910 A St., SE, Auburn WA, 98092

• In person at Auburn Valley Humane Society, second floor, Customer Service Center, at 1 E. M St.

The AVHS and the City of Auburn provide all pet licensing services to its residents.

Only the AVHS can update account information. Please contact the AVHS directly for changes. Funds received from licensing directly benefit animals in the care of AVHS and the City of Auburn.

For more information, contact the AVHS at 253-249-7849.

For more information on licenses and fees, visit auburnwa.gov or call 253-876-1997
