The Washington State Fair is looking to fill hundreds of positions for its Sept. 1-24 run at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.

Apply in person for seasonal employment at the job fair on Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Expo Hall (enter on 9th Avenue, off Meridian), 110 9th Ave. SW, Puyallup.

The following areas are hiring, with multiple positions in each:

• Parking attendant

• Livestock parking

• Janitorial

• Restroom attendant

• Special exhibits

• Grounds day cleanup

• Recycle pickup

• Barns cleanup

• Rodeo horse escort

• People mover

Job fair attendees need to be at least 18 years old and bring two forms of identification, including either a birth certificate or Social Security card.

Additionally, the fair is looking for experience bar managers to help hire staff, schedule and oversee alcohol service. These positions will not be part of the job fair, but those interested are encouraged to send resumes to alcohol@thefair.com.
