KBTC offers PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest

Kids – from kindergarten through the third grade – are invited to enter the PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest.

Local winners will have their stories featured on KBTC public television and on www.kbtckids.org.

KBTC also is hosting a free writers and illustrators workshop from 2-3 p.m. on Feb. 26 at its Tacoma studio, 2320 S. 19th St. Kids and families are invited to the KBTC studio for an interactive, hands-on experience presented by Live Paint 4 Kids.

Participants will learn how to tell stories with art.
