Kent and Auburn school districts come together

Kent School District and Auburn School District are partnering together to bring education tools to help prepare students for kindergarten and future academic success.

The Accelerating Young Minds Pre-K Partnership presents a free program to families and children from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.on April 26 at Arthur Jacobsen Elementary School, located at 29205 132nd Ave. SE Auburn. At this event, guests can see how students are using learning tools on computers, understand these tools and observe how these tools help prepare students for kindergarten and future academic excellence.

Using a grant from the Washington State Department of Early Learning, Auburn and Kent have made advanced software from Neuropath Learning Institute available to preschool providers and parents interested in getting their young students school ready.

Families and interested parties are invited to come learn more and hear from local officials and administrators including, Kent Superintendent Edward Vargas, Auburn Superintendent Kip Heron and Ryan Whitworth from the Neuropath Learning Institute.
