Auburn VFW Post 1741 honors police officer

Auburn VFW Post 1741 recently awarded the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award to Auburn Police Officer Andrew Gould for meritorious service.

Gould was chosen in a competition among other candidates in the state.

He will be honored at the VFW State Convention at Airway Heights, near Spokane, in July.

Gould's winning application will be judged at the national VFW competition in Reno, Nev.
