Daughters of the American Revolution honor Fakharzadeh

The Lakota Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented the National Defense Marine ROTC bronze medal to Madeline Fakharzadeh, a junior at Kentwood High School.

The medal is awarded for loyalty and patriotism – for those who have earned a record of military and scholastic achievement during participation in the ROTC program.

Hilda Meryhew, Lakota Chapter, Washington State DAR historian, presented the honor to Fakharzadeh.
