Auburn Post 1741 earns All-American recognition

The Veterans of Foreign Wars national headquarters recently recognized Auburn Post 78 as an All-American Post out of 50 in the state of Washington.

In addition, Past Commander Bill Peloza was recognized on the 2011-2012 All-American Team of Post Commanders. He also was elected to the position of junior vice commander of VFW District 11, which includes 11 regional posts.

Post 1741 officers for 2012-2013 are: Tony Dohse, commander; Mike Sepal, senior vice commander; Kyle Schmidt, junior vice commander; Jon Quackenbush, quartermaster; Jack Anderson, chaplain; Dan Heid, judge advocate; Jesse Jose, surgeon; and Tom Taylor, guard.
