Green River Community College hosts Lunar New Year celebration

Green River Community College hosts a Lunar New Year celebration to welcome the Year of the Snake.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at the Lindbloom Student Center, 12401 SE 320th St., Auburn.

Various clubs and societies will perform and present videos about their cultures. The Kungfu/Lion Dance troupe also performs. A dance party follows.

Traditional, festive snacks and dishes from Vietnam, China and Korea will be served.

Admission is $5 for students, $8 for non-GRCC students, $10 at the door.
