DAR honors Carlson with special award

The Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented the Good Citizenship Award to Sarah Carlson, a home-schooled sophomore, from the Home School Support Association.

Carlson received the award for her honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism.

Hilda Meryhew, WSSDAR state historian, Lakota Chapter, Auburn, presented the honor.
