Northwest Spay & Neuter Center, Humane Society offer specials

In honor of National Spay Day, the Northwest Spay & Neuter Center is offering discounted surgeries to low-income pet owners during the month of February.

Rates are $10 for cats, $25 for rabbits and $25-75 for dogs.

The offer is available to residents outside of Pierce County and Federal Way during the week of Feb. 25-28 only. Residents must mention "Spay Day" when scheduling an appointment to receive discount.

No animal rescue organizations please.

The Northwest Spay & Neuter Center and the Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County sponsor the offer.
