Toys to be distributed to families at church

Qualified families can pick up new, unwrapped toys this week at Faith and Victory Church, 1601 W. Valley Highway N., Auburn.

Families need to bring their medical coupons in order to receive the toys.

Distribution times at the church are: Thursday and Friday, from 10 a.m.

to 4 p.m., and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon.

ALSO: Valley Regional Fire Authority Firefighters and Auburn Food Bank employees are teaming up to provide toys for needy children. Donations of new, unwrapped gifts and/or cash donations can be dropped off at the following locations: Auburn Fire Station #31 at 1101 D St. NE; South Auburn Fire Station #32 at 1951 R St. SE.; Lea Hill Fire Station 34 at 31204 124th Ave. SE; or Pacific Fire Station 38 at 133 3rd Ave. SE. Families in need of assistance from the Toys for Kids program should register with the Auburn Food Bank (253-804-5696). Toys will be distributed only to those pre-registered with the food bank.
