Auburn Regional Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary offers scholarships

The Auburn Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is offering scholarships in the amount of $2,000.

Applications are available by contacting the volunteer coordinator.

Scholarships are available to full-time students pursuing a career in a health care field. The scholarship committee reviews applications for academic achievement and leadership qualities, as well as financial need.

Applicants must be a graduate of an Auburn, Kent, Federal Way, Sumner, Enumclaw, or Buckley high school, or have resided in one of the named school districts for five years. Applicants must have completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate work and have been accepted into a medical program, or have applications in process at the time of submitting the scholarship application.

All applications must be received by May 11. Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 1.
