West Auburn High senior earns honor

Benjamin Holtz, a senior at West Auburn High School, will be honored as Auburn Rotary’s December Student of the Month. He will attend the Dec. 16 recognition luncheon with his father, George Holtz, and school advisor Larry Laush.

Hotlz enrolled in West Auburn High School’s online program two years ago before transferring into the day program. This past year Holtz has earned a 3.5 GPA and plans to transfer to Green River Community College’s Running Start Program. He has made a positive impression on the staff and students of West Auburn. He looks forward to starting college and completing a four-year degree.
