Pacific-Algona Community Center to host Presidents' Day youth activities

Kids can participate in an afternoon of fun and games at the Presidents' Day youth activities at the Pacific-Algona Community Center, 100 3rd Ave SE. Pacific.

The City of Pacific Community Services Department and the Park Board of Commissioners are sponsoring an afternoon of activities for youth from the first to 12th grades.

The free event, from noon-4 p.m. Monday, will include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, East Room board games, computer lab games, a Wii bowling tournament, a photo contest, and crafts and games for younger kids. There also will be a drawing for free Wii with a completed parks survey. Snacks will be provided.
