The inaugural Rock the Green Clean – a benefit to help raise awareness about the Green River Gorge conservation efforts and raise money to support two annual Green River Cleanup events – is set for March 28.

The benefit, sponsored by the Middle Green River Coalition, "Clean the Green" and Washington Recreational River Runners, will run from 2-7 p.m. at the Crystal Bistro Lounge and Sushi, 1324 Roosevelt Ave. E, Enumclaw.

The coalition is raising support for two cleanup events – May 1 and Aug. 21 along the Green River Gorge and Green River Valley.

Howling Rain, Foothills Band, The Kevin Jones Band, Jake Nicholas, and others will play live music. The day include a raffle, spagetti feed, native plant displays, along with whitewater, mountain biking and Green River Gorge videos.
