GriefWorks to hold benefit auction in Auburn on June 27

Local Puget Sound area nonprofit agency GriefWorks is holding its annual benefit auction, “Lean On Me,” at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 27 in the Millennium Room at Les Gove Campus, located at 808 9th Ave. SE.

Renowned jazz player Ed Taylor will be performing live at the event.

The public is encouraged to join GriefWorks for a pleasant early summer evening of live music, beer or wine (no host bar), hors d’oeuvres, and to actively engage in the energy and fun surrounding a live and silent auction.

All registration and auction proceeds benefit GriefWorks, a non-profit agency that provides grief counseling and support to children, teens and adults after the death of a loved one. They also provide professional training to those who serve the grieving, such as school counselors, caregivers, pastors and health care professionals.
