3 Pigs to outwit wolf at Auburn Ave on Saturday
November 2, 2012 · Updated 10:43 AM
The classic tale of the three little pigs gets revamped as AveKids presents StoryBook Theater's 3 Pigs at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Auburn Avenue Theater.
Will these little piggies outwit the hungry wolf?
When the wolf is on the hunt for some succulent pork, the shakin' bacon starts makin' a sturdy, tooth-proof home for protection. This zany rendition of the favorite tale will have audiences, small and tall, rooting for the little porkers as they scramble to save their skins.
StoryBook Theater, the presenter of 3 Pigs, has been introducing Puget Sound area children to live, original theater since 1998. The company writes 55-minute musicals aimed specifically at 3 to 10-year-olds, while not forgetting about the parents, grandparents and teachers who bring them to the show.
StoryBook creators believe in including life lessons in their shows. Characters not only learn lessons themselves, but teach those lessons to the audience as well.
