A Victorian Country Christmas returns Nov. 28-Dec. 2

Shop at 560 one-of-a-kind stores, see holiday entertainment and taste cuisine and wine at the 26th annual A Victorian Country Christmas (VCC) on Nov. 28-Dec. 2 at the Western Washington Fairgrounds and Exhibition Center, 110 Ninth Ave. SW, Puyallup.
The festival – a quaint Victorian village tended by Victorian clad shopkeepers – includes free professional entertainment and strolling musicians, shopping, numerous how-to events, a wine bar and family activities.
"Find jewelry, art, tools, ornaments, decorations, home décor, clothing, fragrances, toys and hundreds of other gift ideas for everyone on her list. Enjoy the lights and beautiful décor as you shop 'til you drop," said Shari Rusch Furnstahl, VCC producer.
Among the VCC events:
• The Singing Nativity: More than 125 performers share new holiday anthems and classic Christmas carols.
• The Holiday Jubilee Theater and Victorian Opry Theater: Features professional stage shows and concerts.
• Cooking demonstration with award-winning chef John Howie on Sunday at 11 a.m., noon, 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m.
• Wine Garden: Relax in our wine garden and enjoy wines by the glass, wine flights and bottles. Purchase fine wines for holiday gifts or entertaining.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. Parking is free at designated fairgrounds parking lots.
Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors 62 and over and juniors 6-17. Children 5 and younger are free with an adult. Military personnel are $7 with ID.
Two dollar discount coupons off the $10 admission price Wednesday-Friday are available at all participating Haggen Food and Pharmacy, Top Food and Drug stores and KeyBank locations in Western Washington.
