The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra preforms "A Not So Silent Night" at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Maple Valley Presbyterian Church, 22659 Sweeney Road.

The concert features traditional holiday favorites as well as new favorites from holiday television specials and movies such as "Polar Express" and "The Grinch."

"This concert is going to be a lot of fun," says April Whyte, conductor for the youth symphony. "The music is fun to play for the students and fun to listen to for the audience."

Performance groups include MVYSO's Jr. Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and small ensembles.

A $5 suggested donation will be accepted at the door.
