Kent youth choir to sing with Barry Manilow

Singers in the Rainier Youth Choirs are rehearsing to perform with Barry Manilow at 7 p.m. Friday at the ShoWare Center for Pandora Unforgettable Moments of Love On Ice.

Manilow will perform more than 20 of his hits live while Olympic stars Nancy Kerrigan, Ben Agosto, and others perform on the ice.

Being asked to sing during the grand finale is a great honor for Rainier Youth Choirs.

"It is with great confidence that I've accepted this last-minute challenge," said RYC Choral Director Leora Schitters. "I know RYC singers can learn and memorize quickly, and have the professional stage presence to be able to work with another world famous entertainer."
