Whiskey River brings southern rock to the Ave

Whiskey River – a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band – plays the Auburn Ave at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
For more than three decades, Whiskey River's musicians have thrilled audiences throughout America playing the music of the legendary southern-rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Whiskey River's tribute brings the audience back in time 35 years as they blaze through Skynyrd classics like "Sweet Home Alabama", "Gimme Three Steps", "The Breeze", "Saturday Night Special" and many more, plus their version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's live guitar opus "Freebird."
The band has performed at countless fairs, festivals, casinos, clubs and municipal "music in the parks series." They've been seen at the Darrington Classic Rock Festival, the White River Amphitheater, Key Arena, Bite of Seattle, and the Emerald Queen.
