Marvez headlines February's Comedy at the Ave

Monique Marvez is on a mission to make people think a little and laugh a lot with her brand of comedy that has been described as the perfect balance of "a- ha!" and "ha-ha!."
Marvez headlines February's Comedy at the Ave. The program includes two other comedians.
Show time is 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at the historic theater, 10 Auburn Ave.
The show is recommended for ages 18 and above.
Marvez – a radio and television personality, writer and comedian – first exploded on the Miami comedy scene in the clubs and cabarets of South Beach. Then, after being a new face at the legendary Montreal Comedy Festival, she started touring the country and eventually the world for the military.
Marvez has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, ABC, CBS, PBS and many television shows. Recently, she shot two Showtime Specials: "Snoop Dogg Presents the Bad Girls of Comedy" and her own-hour program, "Not Skinny, Not Blonde".
