City Hall Gallery displays artwork of instructors, faculty

The group exhibition at Auburn City Hall Gallery for the month of March features the artwork of several Auburn School District High School Art instructors and faculty.

The gallery, 25 W. Main St., runs March 4 to March 25 and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.

An opening reception is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6.

Artists and art educators showcase their individual artwork in a variety of media.

Participating faculty include:

• Lonnie Chavez, Mountainview High School, chalk pastel and woodblock print
• Luis Chavez , Rainier Middle School, cast aluminum, pastels, cast aluminum, and oil
• Cary Davidson, Auburn Mountainview High School, photography
• Chuck Fitzgerald, Auburn High School, wood sculpture
• Dorin Jane Meinhart, Riverside High School, Jewelry
• Gina Sandland, Riverside High School, digital photography
• Diane Sarr, Auburn High School, mixed media, graphite
