Auburn Valley YMCA to hold day for the dogs

It is a day for the dogs at the Auburn Valley YMCA.
Families are invited to bring their canine companions to the YMCA today for games, contests and prizes – all part of DogVenture Day.
Festivities will occur from 10 a.m. to noon. It is free to the community.
Classes include dog first aid, obedience, agility, grooming and behavior basics/questions and answers. Contests will include best trick and best costume.
Dogs must be family friendly and on a leash.
Special guests and participants include Argus Ranch and Family Dog Training Center. In addition, pet photographer Laura Marie will be on site for families who wish to order pictures.
The first 20 families will receive dog prizes.
YMCA joining fees will be waived for DogVenture Day participants today and Sunday.
The YMCA is located at 1620 Perimeter Road SW, Auburn.
