Time to Stuff the Bus!

The Public School Employees of Washington – in conjunction with the SuperMall – is seeking public donations of food and supplies to help less fortunate families.

The idea is to fill a school bus during a donation drive on Aug. 16, from 10 a.m.

to 4 p.m. The bright yellow school bus will be parked in the SuperMall parking lot, across from McDonald’s.

Several school districts, including Auburn, is participating in this year’s drive.

ALSO: The YWCA’s School Days program is seeking sponsors and donations of school supplies. “This is a perfect opportunity for families who need to shop for school anyway to do something together to help others,” says Renee Timothy, YWCA School Days program coordinator. “It’s easy to ‘adopt’ a needy student the same age as your own child and buy two of everything.” For more information, call Renee Timothy, 425-226-1266, ext. 1024, or visit www.ywcaworks.org.
