For the Reporter

The Bravo Performing Arts Season announced its 2014-15 lineup of music, comedy, theater and kids' programming.

Spotlight performances feature the funny Lynn Trefzger, Comedy Ventriloquist, the outrageous Mr. Speed Kiss Tribute, and the fantastic kids' indie rock group Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Nap Time Players.

Experience live theater with a stage presentation of "Sound of Music", the silliness of "9 to 5 The Musical", and the charming youth production of "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown". Listen to Loretta Lynn's granddaughter Tayla Lynn and the smooth jazz of Darren Motamedy; do an Irish jig with The Gothard Sisters; and take in a tribute to Tom Petty with Petty Fever, Styx with Borrowed Time and John Denver with the Ted Vigil Christmas Show.

There are more than 60 performances scheduled for the season.

Most performances will be at the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

The first AveKids performance is set for the Auburn Riverside High School Theater. The annual Red, White & Blue Holiday concert will take the stage at Green River Community College Lindbloom Student Center, with the Auburn Performing Arts Center is under construction.

A handful of downtown restaurants have come together to offer "Downtown Dining Deals" for the season. Ticket-holders can enjoy a 10-percent discount on the day of the performance at the following Auburn downtown restaurants: Don Giovanni Ristorante; Oddfellas Pub & Eatery; Rainbow Café; Station Bistro; or Zola's Café. Physical ticket or proof of ticket is required to claim the discount.

Purchase tickets online or call 253-931-3043 on Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. or Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
