Auburn Ave Kids and StoryBook Theater bring a magical story, “A Little Mermaid”, to life at the Auburn Ave on May 13.

Bring the whole family down for an afternoon of wonder as mermaids take the stage at the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave. Show time is 2 p.m.

Life underwater isn’t easy for Sirena, a little mermaid who dreams of running and dancing. In this StoryBook version of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic, the audience decides whether Sirena should keep her legs or high-tail it back to sea.

Tickets are $8. Call Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation at 253-931-3043, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, or online through Brown Paper Tickets at auburnwa.gov/arts.
