Auburn Mountainview hosts clothing, textile drive Saturday

The Auburn Mountainview Booster Club – in association with Goodwill and Clothes for the Cause – hosts a clothing and textile drive on Saturday,

The public can drop off donations at the school, 28900 124th Ave SE, from 9 a.m. to noon. Please enter at the west side of the parking lot off 124th.

The drive will accept clothing of any kind and condition including shoes, towels, sheets, blankets, quilts, curtains and drapery, purses, belts, throw rugs, tablecloths, place mats, pillows and stuffed animals.

It will also take household items such as toasters, books, blenders, toys, kitchen devices.

Please bring donations boxed or bagged.

The drive will not accept broken furniture, baby cribs, car seats, printers or wet/damp items.

The booster club is partnering with Goodwill and Clothes for the Cause, a fundraising company that collects clothes in exchange for cash, for a weekend event to raise money for its Grad Night Party.
