Dire Fire to perform at Relay for Life/Bob Jones Service Scholarship Show

Proceeds go to American Cancer Society and help benefit fund

Local rock band Dire Fire performs at this weekend’s Relay for Life/Bob Jones Service Scholarship Show.

The benefit concert begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 702 Fourth St. NE.

All proceeds will be donated to the Relay For Life to support those in their fight against cancer and to help find a cure and to the Bob Jones Service Scholarship fund for a graduating Auburn High School student who has served the community, school and beyond. Jones, longtime athletic director and coach at Auburn High School, continues to battle cancer.

Caleb Kallander (lead guitar/vocals) and 2015 Auburn High graduate Randy Campbell (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) formed Dire Fire in the summer of 2015.

Dire Fire released its debut record, “Two Worlds”, on Jan. 2, 2016. It released the “Two Worlds” track “Liquid” last summer and is releasing a four-track EP now, followed by its second LP in the spring of 2017.
