Nominate a child to be Auburn’s official Christmas tree lighter

Ceremony set for the plaza on Dec. 1

The City of Auburn is looking for an “official Christmas tree lighter,” a special, well-deserving child to help Santa light the tree in front of the City Hall Plaza, on Saturday, Dec. 1.

To nominate a deserving child, please complete an online application.

Nominations will be accepted through 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26. One randomly selected entrant will be chosen and contacted on Nov. 30.
