Northwest Renaissance Poets, City celebrate National Poetry Month with program Friday

Northwest Renaissance Poets and the City of Auburn celebrate National Poetry Month with Poets at the Ave on Friday, April 27.

The program hits the stage from 7 to 9 p.m. at the historic theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

The lineup includes Auburn Poet Laureate Susan Landgraf; former city poet laureates Marjorie Rommel and Dick Brugger; Jeannine Hall Gailey; Kellie Richardson; James Rodgers; Gerald McBreen; Emilie Rommel Shimkus; and youth poet Summer Barnett.

It is free to the public.
