Silver moon over Pacific | Poet’s corner

Looking down where lovers stroll

and hearts sing songs

every couple knows

Silver moon looking to where

lovers park wherever it’s dark

see stars behind their eyes

with every kiss they explore

Laughing eye way up high

enchanting homes in our city

a picture postcard delight

where lovers cuddle in the bliss

of Pacific’s silver moon

– Gerald A. McBreen, Pacific poet laureate
