Pacific hosts inaugural White River Chainsaw Carving Championships

More than 2,000 spectators where on hand in Pacific this past weekend to take in the city's inaugural White River Chainsaw Carving Championships, as part of the community's Pacific Days celebration.

The public was treated to 12 of the Northwest's best carvers all working feverishly to out carve their fellow chainsaw artists.

Enumclaw's Joaquin Quezada's carving was awarded first prize and Edgewood's Bob King was awarded the people's choice.
