The Auburn International Farmers Market went to the dogs on Sunday.

The weekly market held its inaugural Doggie Fashion Show, with owners showcasing their beloved canines in front of judges.

Dog owners and their pets competed in categories. Kathy Cooper and her dog, Lacey Lou, won the "Best in Show" grand prize, which included a $50 gift basket courtesy of Tiki Tails.

The Auburn Animal Services coordinator was on hand to answer questions about the new pet licensing laws. Owners also had an opportunity to license their pets.

The market, located at Auburn Station Plaza, 23 A St. SW, will close this Sunday. Market hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
