Police are continuing their search for the driver responsible for the Christmas day hit-and-run crash in Auburn that killed a young woman.

According to investigators, 27-year-old Sheena Watchman was walking at about 9:25 p.m. in the 1200 block of Auburn Way South when a car or truck struck her. Attempts to revive Watchman were unsuccessful, and medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Details are few, but police told KOMO News that black Lincoln Navigator was in the area at the time of the crash, and they would like to talk to the driver.

Police say the vehicle likely sustained some sort of damage to the front end or passenger side.

If anyone has information, please contact the Auburn Police Department at 253-931-3080.
