A power outage over the weekend forced the suspension of operations at Auburn's Boeing plants today.

The first, second and third operations at the plant – which affects some 4,800 employees – have been suspended through Tuesday morning after transformers failed at the site over the weekend, forcing an evacuation.

Boeing employees can call a special hotline - 1-800-899-6431 – for the latest information on when shifts and operations will resume.
