Police recover human remains in Federal Way

Federal Way police report the discovery of human remains in a wooded area Friday morning in the 1900 block of South 304th Street.
The wooded area is located about a block east of Pacific Highway South, and police have barricaded the scene with yellow tape. According to police, detectives are working with the King County Medical Examiner's Office to recover the skeletal remains. The identity, age, gender and cause of death are unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be reported when available.
