VRFA firefighters douse mobile home fire in southeast Auburn

Valley Regional Fire Authority firefighters beat back a fire early Friday morning in an empty mobile home in southeast Auburn.

Firefighters arrived at about 1:20 a.m. at 4040 Auburn Way S. to find smoke and flames belching out of windows in the center of the 12-by-50-foot mobile home. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. Nobody was hurt.

The South King Fire Investigation Task Force is investigating. Damage is estimated to be $15,000.
