March 1, 2012 · 12:26 PM

U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Auburn, 8th District) has moved his office from Mercer Island to Issaquah. It is now open to constituents.

The new location is centrally located in Sammamish View Office Building and meets Congressional security criteria. Six full-time staff members will use the Issaquah office as home base.

"I'm excited to be moving to Issaquah. My priority as a congressman is serving my district and my constituents." Rep. Reichert said in a statement.

Reichert, who is in the district nearly every weekend, is familiar with Issaquah, which was on his patrol route when he was a deputy sheriff in the 1970s.

The new address is 22605 SE 56 Street, Suite 130, Issaquah, WA 98029. The new phone number is 425-677-7414.
