Auburn traffic advisory: 2nd St NE between Pike St. NE and R St. NE

Construction activities are scheduled to begin on 2nd St. NE between Pike St. NE and R St. NE, starting Monday, July 2.

During work hours (weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.) 2nd St. NE, between Pike St. NE and R St. NE will be closed to thru traffic.  Furthermore, the intersection of 2nd St. NE and Pike St. NE will be intermittently closed during construction; alternate routes are advised.

Construction is anticipated to be complete by July 11. Final paving is expected to occur in mid/late July.

The work will replace a damaged sanitary sewer pipe.
