Algona Days returns to the park

Algona Days – a community celebration filled with food, games and entertainment – returns this weekend.

Hours are 5-9 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at Matchett Park, 402 Warde St., Algona.

The festival includes vendors, inflatable and train rides, hamster ball races, live entertainment, parade, car show, arts and crafts, pancake breakfast, carnival games, cakewalk and music.

The Algona Days 3on3 Basketball Tournament – presented by the City of Algona – in partnership with the Auburn Valley Y is Friday and Saturday in the park. Several age division will vie for top honors.
