Auburn police responded
to the following calls for
service between April 22
and April 26:
April 26
Burglary: Overnight, 32000 block of 110th Avenue Southeast. Unknown suspects entered a residence through a garage door and stole a lockbox containing unspecified collectors items. No value was given.
Burglary: Overnight,
116 Lakeland Hills Way S.E. Unknown persons burglarized a church of something, but what that mysterious object was police didnt say.
Burglary: 6 a.m.,
30000 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. A male reported that while he was sleeping persons unknown entered his residence through an unlocked door and stole his X-Box 360 and three stereo speakers. The victim has 18 roommates, all of whom professed innocence and ignorance of the crime.
Shoplifting: 1:20 p.m., 1425 Supermall Way. Police arrested a juvenile male at Wal-Mart for shoplifting an X-Box game worth an undisclosed amount.
DUI involving booze or drugs: 8:10 p.m., 41st and C Street S.W. Police arrested a male for hit and run, driving under the influence and driving without a license after he caused a collision and ran from the scene. A citizen detained the male person until officers arrived. He refused a blood draw.
Obstructing justice:
9:55 p.m., 1900 block of A Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for obstructing a police officer after the officer was called to a fight involving a possible gun on the basketball court of the Auburn Glen Apartments. The officer contacted a
number of persons, but one man was seen hiding his hands behind his back.
Officers approached the man, but he refused to show his hands, even at gunpoint and with everybody else on the ground pleading with him and begging him to show his hands.
April 25
Assault: 11:33 a.m.,
900 block of M Street Southeast. Police arrested a woman for domestic violence when she hit her fiance on the head with her fist.
Vandalism: 11:04 a.m.,
400 block of 3rd Street Northeast. Auburn School District police took a
14-year-old boy into custody for spray-painting graffiti on a wooden gate. He was
later released to family members.
Theft: 6:15 p.m.,
1101 Supermall Way.
Police arrested a man for shoplifting some item from Burlington Coat Factory.
They discovered a felony warrant from the Seattle Police Department.
April 22
Postal theft: Noon,
29000 block of 53rd Place South. A thief stole a bank statement belonging to somebody of unspecified gender, which included photo copies of checks from mailbox.
The thief later cashed a forged check on the victim of unspecified genders account.
