King County Executive directs flags to half-staff for victims of Connecticut school shooting

King County Executive Dow Constantine has directed that flags at all King County facilities be lowered to half-staff, following proclamations from President Obama and Gov. Chris Gregoire, for the victims of Friday's tragic events in Newtown, Conn. A shooter killed 26 people at the school, including 20 children.
Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset or the close of business on Tuesday, Dec. 18, according to a county media release.
