People can start lining up at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 in Tukwila at the Westfield Southcenter Kiosk for the state lottery to try to win a trip for two to the Seattle Seahawks NFL playoff game Sunday at Atlanta.

Two trips will be awarded. Contestants must purchase with cash two $5 Scratch tickets and will receive an entry for a chance to win.

Tickets must be purchased at the Scratch Bar from Lottery staff during the promotion. Entries must be received during hours of the promotion from 3-7 p.m.

The first 800 people in line are guaranteed a chance to purchase tickets and enter the drawing. Once in line contestants will be given a numbered ticket which they must present at time of purchase.

Depending on the crowd people may have to stand in line outside of the mall.

The trip package includes airfare, two-night hotel stay (double occupancy) and two tickets to the game.

The second tier prizes include 1 winner: autographed Seattle Seahawks jersey; 1 winner: autographed Seattle Seahawks helmet; and 20 winners: $100 Seattle Seahawks Pro Shop gift card.

Lottery officials will draw the winners at 7 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. Trip winners must be available by phone by 9 p.m. Jan. 9, or will be disqualified from winning the trip.

The Blue Thunder band and mascot Blitz are scheduled to appear at the event. Ex-Seahawk fullback Mack Strong will sign autographs from 5:30-7 p.m.
