Auburn to offer public emergency response training June 24-26

The City of Auburn Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with the White River Valley Citizen Corps Council and the Valley Regional Fire Authority, will offer a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course to area residents next week.

Classes meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 24-26, with training free to anyone who lives, works or volunteers in the city limits of Auburn, Algona or Pacific. Out-of-area participants pay a $25 fee.

Class members must provide some basic equipment. Other necessary supplies and equipment will be provided.
