Photo of the Week: Deluge
A massive rainstorm hammered Auburn and the rest of the Puget Sound region this week, bringing in urban flooding, thundershowers and even a tornado that touched down at Frederickson.
The storm contributed to a record-breaking September for rainfall with 6.16 inches, breaking the previous mark of 5.95 inches set in 1978.
The fall's first significant storm was not particularly powerful or destructive, but it was unusual for this time of year.
